Altitude Hold and Hover Stabilization (AHHS) - In brownout or whiteout conditions, over-water hovers and tight LZs, the AHHS system provides hands-free cyclic and collective hover control for cruise, low-altitude hover operations, precision hover and drift control, automatic descend to the ground, and automatic go-around.
Distributed Aperture IR Counter Measures (DAIRCM) - DAIRCM is an aircraft survivability system approach that utilizes a single sensor for both 2-color IR missile warning and wide field of view gimbal for threat countermeasure. Additional capabilities of the sensor include hostile fire indication (HFI), laser warning, limited Degraded Visual Environment capability, distributed sensors available for providing 360-degree situational awareness. The ENTIRE system is only 70 pounds and includes 4-6 sensors, central port Ares laser, central processor and fiber optic cable assembly.
Dual Mode Warning Sensor (DMWS) - Aircraft Survivability sensor that packages DRS’ 2-color IR missile warning capability in the US Army’s AN/AAR-57 form factor. This fast frame rate sensor is also well suited for hostile fire indication, limited Degraded Visual Environment capability and their distributed installation provides 360-degree situational awareness.
Electronic Combat End-To-End Test System - The Electronic Combat End-to-End Test System (EC-ETET) provides performance verification of installed electronic combat equipment. The system provides the latest in state-of-the art synthetic instrument (SI) technology. Using SI allows the test system to inhabit a smaller footprint than other testers with similar capabilities.
Hand-held Radar Threat Stimulator (HRTS) - The HRTS is designed to be an all in one ‘End of Runway’ Go/No Go confidence tester for installed aircraft warning receiver systems, or used with any RF Antenna Coupler to stimulate an RF Radar Warning Receiver based system through a direct connection.
HexaBlµ™ 1280-MW - A cooled 6-micron MWIR camera module. It employs a revolutionary 6 μm pixel pitch HgCdTe detector technology that leverages DRS’ proprietary HDVIP® (High Density Vertically Integrated Photodiode) to deliver high sensitivity mid-wave infrared (MWIR) detection in an incredibly small Integrated Dewar Cooler Assembly (IDCA). Joint Tactical Terminal – Receiver (JTT-Rx) - Provides the most comprehensive near real time situational awareness and intelligence picture worldwide. It is a stand-alone interoperable beyond line-of-sight (BLOS) emissions controlled (EMCON) broadcast receiver for millions of threat, survivor, and Blue Force Tracking (BFT) reports daily without the need for data forwarders.
Mounted Family of Computer Systems (MFoCS) - MFoCS is a modular Mounted Family of Computing Systems which integrates existing Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below (FBCB2), future Joint Battle Command-Platform (JBC-P) and Warfighter Information Network-Tactical (WIN-T) capability into a powerful, modular and flexible hardware architecture.
Portable AN/ALE-47 Hot Mock-up Bench - DRS Technologies has developed several standard Hot Mock-up Bench (HMB) configurations for the AN/ALR-69, AN/ALR-56M, AN/ALE-47 and AN/AAR-47 avionics systems.
Zafiro® HD-MW - A new standard for image clarity, the Zafiro® HD-MW sensor module provides all the performance of a long-range capable, cooled MWIR camera in a small, low-power package. The Integrated Dewar Cooler Assembly (IDCA) utilizes DRS' HDVIP® (High Density Vertically Integrated Photodiode) HgCdTe detector technology to deliver high sensitivity. Learn more
