DRS Technologies sponsored the final week of ceremonies and events at the United States Pavilion during this year’s Expo Milano 2015, which recently wrapped up its months-long festivities in Italy.
The USA Pavilion theme for the Expo was “American Food 2.0: United to Feed the Planet,” which showcased the United States as an innovator not only in the food sector, but also in many aspects of culture, science and business.
DRS sponsored what the Pavilion called “Legacy Week” which highlighted key themes of the pavilion and serves as a launching pad to continue to address the challenges of feeding the world’s projected 9 billion people by the year 2050.
While obviously not a food company, DRS is a company that prides itself on innovation and was proud to support the Pavilion’s theme of innovation as well as its message of feeding those in need. DRS Technologies’ support of “Legacy Week” included a variety of activities, events and discussions that took place at the USA Pavilion marking the culmination of the United States’ endeavors at Expo Milano.
