Military Times has unveiled its annual “Best for Vets: Employers” list for 2020, naming Leonardo DRS as one of 144 companies that go above and beyond to recruit and retain former members of the United Stated Armed Forces.
The list, which includes companies in industries such as transportation, education, and hospitality, is compiled based on criteria consisting of interviews with veterans, input from veterans’ advocates and subject matter experts, and years of Military Times research. Companies that submitted themselves for the list were subjected to an extensive survey requesting detailed information on their recruitment and retention policies for veterans, support of military spouses, and more.
In its 11th year, the “Best for Vets: Employers” list has become the “most trusted resource for transitioning veterans and a coveted honor for employers across the country,” says Andrew Tilghman, executive editor at Military Times.
