Mark A. Dorfman is our Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary.
As the Company’s chief legal officer, Mark regularly advises the DRS Board of Directors and executive leadership team on strategic, transactional, governance, regulatory, and risk matters. Mark has a breadth of responsibilities, including leadership over transactions, litigation, corporate governance, internal audit, contracts, insurance, intellectual property protection, and ethics and compliance (including EH&S, international trade, and security).
Mark also leads the Company’s mergers and acquisitions program and other corporate development activities.
During his long tenure at DRS, Mark has helped guide major corporate developments and was a principal leader on the Company’s most significant acquisitions and other initiatives, including its 2022 public listing.
Prior to joining Leonardo DRS, Mr. Dorfman was a corporate attorney at two leading law firms, where his practice included representation of corporate and other clients in connection with mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, and other complex transactions and providing advice and counsel on a variety of matters, including securities law and corporate governance. Mark holds a B.A. from Emory University and a J.D. from New York University School of Law.
