ARLINGTON, VA, May 15, 2013 -- DRS Technologies, Inc., a Finmeccanica Company, announced today it has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) to continue its maintenance, repair and overhaul work at the U.S. Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.
Under the contract, DRS’s Technical Services group will continue to provide maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services to Coast Guard C-130 aircraft for one year with yearly options to extend up to an additional four years. If all of the options are exercised by the Coast Guard, the contract could be worth up to $200 million.
