Measures Optical Continuity of Fiber Optic Cable Assemblies

The Fiber Optic Cable Assembly (FOCA) Test Set is designed to verify optical continuity during laboratory, field installation and maintenance. Systems that employ FOCA components, such as the AN/AAQ-45 Distributed Aperture Infrared Countermeasures (DAIRCM), require such testing to be performed during flight-line installation and troubleshooting. The FOCA Test Set includes a series of FOCA adapters that integrate with a standard laser source (580 XL) and fiber-optic power meter (560 XL) from Greenlee.
