RING C-UAS

Family of Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems

Providing Next Generation, Non-Kinetic C-UAS Protection for Mounted, Dismounted, Sea Based, and Fixed Site Forces.

Leonardo DRS has partnered with Regulus Cyber Ltd. to provide their Ring C-UAS capability to the U.S. market. Ring is a cutting-edge C-UAS solution that employs advanced electronic warfare capabilities to detect, identify, and defeat enemy drones and autonomous systems, whether they approach by air, land, or sea. The system leverages proprietary RF detection, unique Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) techniques, and RF datalink manipulation to counter both commercial and military uncrewed threats. With its small form factor, Ring offers versatile deployment configurations, including stationary, man-portable, on-the-move, or integrated as a protective layer for ground combat platforms.

As one of the world’s most proliferated and battle proven C-UAS systems, Ring has been deployed across multiple platforms in operational theatres since 2023 and has demonstrated exceptional effectiveness against uncrewed threats—from commercial Group 1 systems to military Group 3 platforms. Ring also defends against swarms, multidirection attacks, GNSS-dependent dark drones, manually piloted drones, 4G/5G drones, and even First-Person View (FPV) threats. Ring is a mature, affordable, and production ready capability that is ready to meet the U.S. military’s C-UAS requirements.

RING Threat Mitigation Modes

Hold/Crash

Threat is held in a predefined pattern + optionally crashed.

Pushback/Crash

Threat is pushed in a defined direction + optionally crashed.

Control

Threat is diverted and flown to a defined location. Requires integration with a detection and tracking system.

No Fly Zone

Threat is forced to respond to NFZ requirements (commercial drones only – behaviors may vary).
