Family of Joint Tactical Terminals Providing Integrated Broadcast Service (IBS)

Making Room for Greater Capability

Leonardo DRS continues to push the limits of SWaP-C (Size, Weight, Power and Cost) in our family of multi-functional tactical terminals. We are packing more channels into smaller volumes, providing additional capabilities and saving space on platforms. That’s big thinking in compact, cutting-edge products.

Leonardo DRS Joint Tactical Terminals are Platform Agnostic

Joint Tactical Terminal – Miniaturized (JTT-Mini)

The Next Generation of Joint Tactical Terminals (JTT-NG)

Leonardo DRS' JTT-NG solutions are the world's smallest and most capable Integrated Broadcast Service (IBS) systems available today, and they are certified by the Joint Interoperability Testing Center (JITC).

The Integrated Broadcast Receiver - Miniaturized (IBR-Mini) and Joint Tactical Terminal - Miniaturized (JTT-Mini) provide the most comprehensive near real-time battlespace awareness capability to the Warfighter by communicating millions of threat, survivor, and Blue Force Tracking (BFT) reports daily. These systems are stand-alone, interoperable, beyond line-of-sight (BLOS), and miniaturized Common Interactive Broadcast (CIB) systems with a 66% reduction in size, weight and power (SWAP) to meet Warfighter requirements.

Integrated Broadcast Receiver – Miniaturized (IBR-Mini)

Integrated Broadcast Receiver - Miniaturized (IBR-M)The Integrated Broadcast Receiver – Miniaturized (IBR-Mini) is the next generation of Leonardo DRS' Air Force Tactical Receive System-Ruggedized (AFTRS-R), yielding a two-thirds size and weight reduction while maintaining all functionality. It provides red side processing for filtering, correlation, and translation; therefore, freeing up platform processors for other mission functions. It is a four-channel, software-defined terminal that delivers integrated broadcast service via the common interactive broadcast waveform and is reprogrammable for future waveforms.

The IBR-Mini is the world’s only integrated broadcast service receiver designed with a modular bolt-on transmit upgrade option to the Joint Tactical Terminal – Miniaturized (JTT-Mini). The IBR-Mini provides simultaneous common interactive broadcast receive and UHF SATCOM secure voice, text, and data transmit via the Integrated Waveform (IW) or the Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) waveform.
