I-Kits Manufacturing

Headquartered in Melbourne, FL, Leonardo DRS’ Land Electronics business unit operates in 15,000 square feet of manufacturing floor space. Modular assembly lines generate up to 1,500 installation kits per week providing a significant surge capability.

Leonardo DRS recently built 30,000 square feet of additional manufacturing/warehouse space to house and inventory all products, including complete bundles of computers and kits by vehicle model. The increased footprint of the Melbourne campus is in support of the MFoCS IK Program and the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Interconnecting Equipment – Tailored Logistics Support (IE-TLS) contract.
